About this beach
A quieter section of the Nea Artaki coastline, named after the reeds (kalamia) that once lined this part of the shore. Less developed than the northern beaches, Kalamia offers a more relaxed atmosphere with fewer sunbeds and more free space. The shallow, warm waters and soft sand make it a favorite with families seeking a less crowded alternative.
